Providing scholarships to Michigan-based women is one of the many missions of the Outreach Committee of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation. The committee is organized to focus on scholarship development and distribution, the development of mentoring programs for girls, young women entering college, or women returning to the work force after an extended period of time and providing educational and technology programs for the community.

HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT) Foundation is offering one annual college scholarship of up to $5,000 for high-school girls who are currently or will be enrolled in college-level courses for the 2006/2007 academic year. The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years (see eligibility requirements below) for a total disbursement of up to $20,000. The application deadline is February 28, 2006 to be considered for the 2006 fall semester.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT) Foundation is offering one undergraduate-level and one graduate-level college/university scholarship for women who are currently or will be enrolled in college/university-level courses for the 2006/2007 academic year. Each scholarship is worth up to $5,000 annually, and is renewable for up to 3 years (see eligibility requirements below) for a total disbursement of up to $15,000. The application deadline is February 28, 2006 to be considered for the 2006 fall semester.

LAPTOP GRANT PROGRAM
The Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT) Foundation is offering a total of three (3) one-time stipends of a laptop computer, printer, and required software to women who are currently or will be enrolled in college-level courses for the 2006/2007 academic year. The application deadline is February 28, 2006 to be considered for the 2006 fall semester.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD RECIPIENTS

MCWTF has awarded a total of $90,000 in scholarships and grants for 2003 - 2005.
