New Women's Tech Group Sets Big Meeting
Detroit, Mich. - September 20. 2002 - The Michigan Council of Women in Technology was formed earlier this year after a bit of disillusionment in these parts with a national group. The council sponsored a couple of killer meetings, and its first session of the new program year Oct. 3 from 6-9 p.m. looks to be another.
There's a top-flight tech panel comprised of Pete Janak, vice president and CIO, Delphi Corp.; Laurie Orlov, research director at Forrester Research; Bette Walker, executive director of business operations, Delphi; Tommi White, COO of Compuware; and Dave Wolheen, executive vice president at Delphi. They'll talk about the latest tech trends and how today's professionals can keep up with them -- and yet retain a life.
The event is sponsored by Delphi Corporation, and located at the MSU Management Education Center, 811 West Square Lake Road, Troy.
